This is your chance to get up close and personal with Australian indie pop-rock band, The Jungle Giants on 23 April, 8pm at The Bee, Publika. This concert is presented by The Bee’s very own Upfront series, which is meant to showcase international acts in an intimate setting for a fan experience of a lifetime.

For the uninitiated, their sound can be characterized as upbeat, tickling guitar chords and catchy riffs paired with the playful honesty of frontman, Sam Hale’s brittle vocals. Songs like ‘She’s a Riot’ and ‘I Am What You Want Me To Be’ bring to mind bands like Two Door Cinema Club and The Strokes. As an added bonus, fellow Australian indie popper Lia Mice will be kickstarting the show with her own brand of melancholic melodies.

KL is the second stop of the band’s Australasian Tour and the Upfront show will be their first time in Malaysia.

The event is age-restricted to those 18 or older so it is advised to bring valid photo ID. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased now for RM88 at The Bee itself or Rock Corner in Bangsar Village I. Any remaining tickets will be purchasable at the door for RM108.

The Bee, 36B, Level G2, Publika, Solaris Dutamas, Jalan Dutamas 1, 50480 KL. Find out more here.
