Asia Social Innovation Camp is coming to Kuala Lumpur in November. The call for ideas is now open, with a deadline of 19 October.

Social Innovation Camp brings together software developers and designers with people who understand a social problem. The aim? To build web and mobile solutions to social challenges – in 48 hours.

Leading up to these 48 hours, Social Innovation Camp will select six ideas from the local community, individuals and NGOs. Anyone who can think of an idea that uses the internet or mobile technology to solve a social problem is invited to submit an idea.

If selected, you will be able to take part in a weekend where designers, software developers and entrepreneurs come together in teams to make prototypes. After the weekend, Social Innovation Camp will continue to support participants to make their idea into a real venture.
