In just a few more days, Rantai Art Festival will return after a two year hiatus. One of the most eagerly anticipated art festivals of the year, the collective promises to bring about a wide range of music performances, exhibitions, film screenings and more by upcoming and established local creatives. It will be an interactive avenue catered towards the nurturing of ideas and thoughts within the industry.

Among those featured in the lineup are local bands like Hujan, Pitahati and Nitrus, the screening of Wau Maker (Udey Ismail), workshops and talks by people from different artistic backgrounds, such as Sharifah Amani (actress) and Tarlen Handayani (craft expert). There will also be some exciting special appearances scheduled such as the didgeridoo Malaysia gathering, a mural and graffiti jam and projection mapping by thisisRAD.

The festival will be held from 29 – 30 March, 10am – 10pm at the MIA Red Bungalow which is located behind Nasi Kandar Pelita near KLCC. It is easily accessibly by LRT and is only a short five minute walk away from the mall.
