What is it?
A café in Uptown Damansara Utama that serves up all-day breakfasts with a fusion twist. It’s also an all-day bar, opening until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. How about a beer with that breakfast, or a breakfast with that beer?
Who is it?
Caroline Lai, a former flight attendant, and her friend Andrew Tan, who has worked in the F&B industry before. This is their first joint venture into F&B. “It’s been great being so hands-on. We’re still experimenting in creating the perfect balanced ambiance. It’s not like in the old days where you just open a shop and serve food,” says Andrew.
If you’ve had one too many at the bar, the Hangover Mess: corned beef mixed with pan fried potato and diced capsicum, topped with two fried eyes and homemade hollandaise sauce. Feeling a little more sophisticated? Try the the Japanese breakfast, featuring soft-shell crab with wasabi mayonnaise on scrambled egg.
Is it ever too early for a mojito? The hand-crafted cocktails come in different flavours, from original to ginger and lemongrass and coconut.
All day breakfasts start from RM20; a long black is RM7; mojitos from RM25.
