A new series of videos by PopDevRights Malaysia (PDRM) is tackling sex education by addressing taboo issues for the younger generation. The videos, aimed at young people, feature anecdotes, interviews and even cartoons and discuss issues such as abortion, rape and transgender healthcare.The videos have been created in conjunction with the UN Commission on Population and Development (CPD) in New York and is hosted by Zara Kahan. They also include interviews with leading women’s health advocates like Ivy Josiah of the Women’s Aid Organisation.PDRM is a collective of NGOs and individuals who recognize the need for discussion and action regarding development policies and the effect it has on the population growth.
