Kurau Community Library
Kurau Library, which opened a few months ago, is a community library in the residential area of Lorong Kurau, Bangsar. Occupying a converted corner house, the library was designed by Tetowowe Atelier and is a space for both browsing books and studying.libraryThe library is staffed by student volunteers, who get to stay above the library in exchange for helping to run it. Unlike several private libraries around KL, there is no membership fee. The books and magazines – spanning fiction and non-fiction genres – are mostly donated by members of the public. While books are currently not available for borrowing, this system should be up and running in the near future. The staff are in the process of organising the books. The library is also accepting donations of other books of all genres to add to the collection.Kurau Library, 45 Lorong Kurau, KL 59100.
