We’ve been fans of The Impatient Sisters for some time. So it’s with some sadness that we bid a temporary farewell to the sparkling folk sisters at a show on Saturday 28 December. The youngest of the trio, Kina, is off to study at Berklee College of Music, so this puts a hiatus on any more shows in the near future.

For “Boston Bound: A Farewell Show for Kina” at DPac, The Impatient Sisters will perform alongside friends and collaborators like Liyana Fizi and Darren Ashley (pictured far left). A little bird told us that we can also expect a reprise of the hilarious “Impatient Brothers”, who made their debut at Urbanscapes.

Having played at major festivals this year in both KL and Singapore, The Impatient Sisters have a loyal following of fans (as their T-shirts and tote bags attest) and their hair-tingling melodies will be much missed. But we’re sure it’s not the last you’ll see of them.

Get your tickets for the show (RM35) and in the meantime, relive their picnic from last year here or their early sets on The Wknd Sessions here.
