Cycling enthusiasts, do not miss Bicycle Shorts II, a short film screening event hosted by Village Bicycles. Happening on Tuesday, 14 May at Palate Palette, it will feature five shorts on a variety of subjects ranging from socio-political issues to arts.
Return of the Scorcher gives an interesting insight into the bike culture and lifestyle in the 90s from around the globe. There is also another short film on a cycling movement originated in Columbia called Ciclovía, where city streets are closed to motor traffic for cycling. Other films that will be screened are Bicycle Sounds, Ya’ Telab Blues and With My Own Two Wheels.
The first working draft of KL cycling map will be on display during the event. The mapping project is an ongoing effort by a group of volunteers who cycle in the city, lead by Jeffrey Lim, a former speaker at Poskod Talks.
Screenings from 9pm. Admission is free. More on information on Facebook.
