Tetra Pak (2)(1)

In conjunction with Hari Raya, Tetra Pak (the company that packages your milk) has created a campaign to get more people to recycle with Tetra Pak, by showing how the cartons can be used to make other things – including building materials.

Traditionally, we see one of the highest consumption of drinks in Tetra Pak packages during the Hari Raya festivities,” said Terrynz Tan, Environment Director for Tetra Pak Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia.

As well as releasing an infographic to show how many drink packs we consume, Tetra Pak has launched a microsite, Recycle Easy. Complete with geo-location technology, the website helps you locate your nearest recycling point. They currently have 20 collection partners providing 366 collection points across the country.

It’s a handy map for those of us who want to recycle more, but don’t know where to go: while all the points recycle drink cartons, some also recycle other stuff too.
