If you’re a huge comic fan, here’s one event you don’t want to miss out on! Celebrating comic art culture with the best of illustration, Comic Art Festival Kuala Lumpur is happening this weekend, 7 – 8 June from 10am – 6pm at The Annexe Gallery.
Step into a world of comics galore with artist booths and art demonstrations by guest artists as well as forums by experienced members of the industry. Some of the many highlights to expect this weekend include a Comic Art Demonstration by Alan Quah, Manga demonstrations by Yoshimi Kurata, Koko Fukuda and Keitaro Arima, along with a ‘How to Break into the Comic Industry?’ forum featuring Sireh, Michael Chuah (MMCS), Slaium (GEMPAK STARZ), Faizal Muktar (peKOMIK), Ernest Ng and Lefty.
To enter the event you must purchase a CAFKL passport, which will be available at the doors for RM10. The passport will not only grant you access for both days, but also comes with an event schedule and map.
