A green garden#BetterCities will host another edition of its Talk Series on Saturday 7 June, this time focusing on the topic of “The Edible City: Urban Gardening and the Food Futures of KL”.In light of rising food prices, should food growing be taken into public hands? #BetterCities will look at the limitations and potentialities of expanding urban gardening in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to the panel discussion, there will be an activity inspired by ‘The Public Kitchen’ where the public will be invited to create a dish out of select ingredients as a means to generate awareness about local and climate friendly foods. This session will feature Shao-Lyn Low of Eats, Shoots and Roots; Ili Farhana Norhayat of Gang Chaos and Nova Ceceliana Nelson of Cultivate Central. For more information on urban gardening, check out our feature on KL’s Urban Gardeners. Admission is free and entry is from 3.30pm (the event runs from 4pm – 6.30pm). The talk will be held at the Glass Lantern Lobby of Menara Bata, PJ Trade Centre. Find out more here. http://rusbankinfo.ru займ на карту срочно без отказа
