Ridduan Ismail is a photographer, better known as ttfga on Instagram (Tukang Tangkap Foto Gembira Anda). In December, when Riddhuan went back to his hometown in Kelantan and found himself in the worst floods of recent history, he starting posting photos from his iPhone.
Ridduan is a street style photographer who has worked with local brands like Super Sunday. However, his photos of the floods in Kelantan has brought his work to a wider audience, after going viral on the internet and gaining coverage on mainstream media.
The photos, which capture the intimate and surreal effect of the floods on everyday life, will now be exhibited for the first time since being posted on Instagram. The exhibition will be open to the public on 1 February and held at HQ, 28, Persiaran Beruas, Damansara Heights. Some proceeds from the sale of photos will go back to funding post-flood recovery work.All photos courtesy of ttfga.
