KL street artist Escape has taken to the city’s walls again. Just by the Pasar Seni LRT station, he embarked on a new 70ft x 15ft mural, finishing it in 11 days. Other artists from all over the world came to help him paint parts of it.

Escape writes to Poskod:

“This is a non-profit project, all the budget came from my pocket. I just planned to go big and take this up as my challenge. It was a very successful project of mine, cos I never thought that people would get interested. But they came down to have a chit chat and chill with me.

“So far, I have had people from Germany, Australia, Japan, Colombia, USA, UK, Philippines, Indonesia and public from around KL coming down to leave a mark. I’m not sure how long the piece is gonna last, hopefully it’s gonna be permanently there,” he adds.

If you want to see the artwork yourself, you’d better get yourself down to the river. City walls are fair game, and nobody knows how long the art will be there. Remember when the same wall had this mural by Monche?
