Malaysia’s publishing house Buku Fixi is finally opening a brick-and-mortar bookstore. The store is located in Jaya Shopping Centre and will stock the publisher’s own line of novels and non-fiction books, including bestsellers Cerpen Terbaik, Wild Things, Horror Stories and the KL Noir series. You can also look out for their limited edition tote bags.

Fixi was established in 2011. Prior to opening a store, books were sold through an online shop and also distributed to MPH, Kinokuniya, Borders outlets and a few local independent bookstores. The new store looks set to further strengthen the Fixi brand, which has bucked the local book industry’s pessimism with consistent sales and multiple print runs.

The launch of the new Fixi store is on 11 April at Level 4, Jaya Shopping Centre from 3pm – 5pm. Writers Ridhwan Saidi, Mim Jamil and Anuar Shah will be at the launch.
