Food delivery service foodpanda has teamed up with the Klang Valley’s most popular nasi lemak joints for a Merdeka campaign to “deliver muhibbah” from today until 20 September.

Noting that nasi lemak is a classic comfort food for Malaysians (at a time when many of us need some comfort), foodpanda will deliver nasi lemak from Village Park (24 – 30 August), Nasi Lemak Tanglin (31 August – 6 September), Nasi Lemak 223 (7 – 13 September) and Nasi Lemak Famous (14 – 20 September).

A percentage of the sales of these nasi lemak will go to Food Aid Foundation, an NGO which collects surplus food from hotels and supermarkets and distributes the food to the needy, operating as a food bank while cutting down on food wastage.

Each portion of nasi lemak costs RM20 and includes a #DeliveringMuhibbah surprise gift.

Please note that deliveries are limited to certain areas on different weeks. Check the website for more information.
