Malaysian publishing house Fixi is once again open for submissions – this time, for an anthology themed on the city of Ipoh. Hungry in Ipoh invites writers to submit short stories or creative non-fiction that plays on the idea of hunger in a city famous for its street food.

Edited by Hadi M. Noor, the collection is due to be published in October 2015 and follows on from the success of similiar anthologies from Fixi, Lost in Putrajaya (2014) and Love in Penang (2013). The deadline for submissions (2000 – 5000 words) to Hungry in Ipoh is 31 March 2015.
