With the hugely popular Rainforest Music Festival in Sarawak coming up in August, let’s not forget about Sabah’s slice of festival action. The team at Future Alam Borneo (A wildlife conservation NGO), and PAWSE (Protective Action for Wildlife in Sabah through Education) is holding the Borneo Rhythms of Rimba, also known as ROR, for the second year. The two day outdoor festival aims to promote conservation and environmental awareness among Malaysians with a fun approach.

Mixing conservation and craft activities with music and more, highlights of the festival include performance by musician Froya, mask making workshops, an appearance by Moab Monkeys US, and the Human Nest experience.

Priced at RM30 (Adults) and RM10 (Youth and Students between the age of 5 to 17), all tickets come with a Wintercroft Borneo Mask that participants can ensemble and wear throughout the festival.

22 & 23 August at Rainforest Discovery Centre, Sepilok, Sandakan, Sabah
