To mark the 100th day since flight MH370 went missing, we commissioned an original illustration by artist Sharon Chin. This is “Silent Seas”, ink on paper:
I had a hard time deciding what to draw to commemorate the 100 days of MH370 missing. I drew this on en route from KL to Japan. The sun was rising. As the light grew outside, it filtered into the cabin of the plane from little oval windows – inky black to indigo to blue to cool yellow.
This image is for the lost, and for us, who wait for answers from the silent seas.
