The greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley is poised to be an engine of economic growth for our nation in the next decade. We have heard about (and contributed much to) the bad side of our city: its inadequate public transit system, lack of design and care, poor city planning. This is our manifesto for a more liveable and lovable Kuala Lumpur.
CariMakan #15: Children's Book Author
Datin Rossiti Aishah Rashidi is a children’s book writer. She uses poems, illustrations and short stories about animals in Malaysia with the hope of creating awareness amongst children on our impact as humans on nature.
Cari Makan #14: Sign Language Interpreter
Lucy Lim, 48, is a sign language interpreter. She is from Kuala Lumpur and has been working with the deaf since she was 19. Lucy believes deaf people deserve more educational facilities, as well as job opportunities.
